Designed and owned by Anglo-Italian entrepreneur Jay Maggistro, the venue reflects perfectly his passion for style - classic and elegant throughout yet with a contemporary twist. stay No 5 Cavendish Square is a stunning boutique hotel, with eight individually designed rooms and suites in the gorgeous building which used to be the Spanish Chamber of Commerce. With a sweeping grand staircase and most of the original features No 5 owner, Jay Maggistro has ensured each room is entirely bespoke by design, by importing beautiful antiques and fabrics from Italy and Asia. The eight suites are individually themed in Grape, Yellow, Maroon, Red, Black, Blue and Purple to Egyptian. Each suite is a supremely lavish affair, most with King-size beds, LCD plasmas/ DVD players, Kensingtion Ipod Docking Stations and opulent marble bathrooms. Guests can relax and unwind in a double-ended bath, which is complimented by the unique No 5 bath menu. For the ultimate decadent experience, choose to have the bath filled to the brim with pure champagne and enjoy a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal and aromatherapy oils on the side. relax The Ground Floor Bar serves an extensive range of cocktails and bar snacks. Rich mahogany tones and velvet seating create a luxurious ambience, perfect for meetings, early drinks and relaxing. The bar leads onto a patio garden, ideal for summer cocktails. The Cristal Bar is the sumptuous VIP bar, available for private hire with its own bar.. Also to enjoy there is the Cigar Bar, with an extensive selection of specialist spirits and cigar brands, giving this room the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. eat For lunch or dinner, guests can enjoy the Restaurant, which is situated on the first floor, and seats 80 people. It is open for lunch on Monday to Friday from 12noon until 3pm and for dinner from 6.30pm to 11pm , on Saturday for dinner only from 6.30pm until 11pm and on Sunday for lunch from 12noon until 3pm. Chef Claudio Barchieri has created a sumptuous European menu with Italian influences, which is perfectly accompanied by the extensive wine list of more than 150 wines from around the globe. The restaurant offers an affordable set menu from just £15 for 2 courses – ask reception for details.On the second floor, there is the Library, the decadent private dining room and lounge, catering for up to 24 people, with stunning views over Cavendish Square.
